Fashion Friday! "Falling for Fall"

Hey there fashionistas! Fall seems to be bringing a ton of fun trends in the apparel world. Beautiful new coats for winter, shades of red, show those legs, and many many more. One that just seems to stick out to me as a bit odd is the resurfacing of the 1980's. (Don't get me wrong, I think I like it . . .maybe)

Reading up on all the different fashion weeks that have been taking place, I've seen this trend pop up here and there. I'm rather curious about this trend and am wondering if it will fully come alive. I'm sure it might in the big cities: power dressing, neon colors, Mad Max styles, and not to mention the deconstructed method applied to some garments.

Baring all this in mind, this is one of MANY trends this fall. What I'm interested in is to see if the return-to-the-80's look will show it's face in the not so big towns. I'm going to conduct a little research; let's call it "Eye on the Eighties." On my random off days that I get from work that are smack in the middle of the week, I'm going to go to places in Louisiana such as New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Shreveport, and Hammond to see if this one trend (and what other trends) will appear down here in the dirty south. Be on the look out for "Out and About" pictures and updates!!

Well, that's all folks for my first "Fashion Friday". I want to shout out to two of my favorite inspirations, Garance Dore and The Satorialist. Amazing fashion experts in my book!
